Business Systems Analyst
Summary: Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the administrative systems. This will include on side client server applications, the local area network, wide area network and the associated hardware.
¨ Observes all safety and environmental rules and procedures.
¨ Assures proactive response to changes demands of the marketplace, business conditions, and evolving technology impacting business system design and utilization.
¨ Interfaces with personnel from various work areas supported to determine systems and associated training needs.
¨ Prepares functional specifications and requirement definitions and performs cost benefit analysis.
¨ Initiates change requests, records, and reports as appropriate and track status.
¨ Maintains computer and network hardware.
¨ Maintains systems servers, databases, and supports server applications.
- Bachelors Degree in related technical field preferred with 2 years of related experience.
- Position requires skills in Windows Based Server Administration, SQL databases, support for system hardware and software including, but not limited to, Cisco VOIP Phone Systems, Mobile Device Management, video surveillance systems, print and file services, and Active Directory. Knowledge of networking in a Cisco environment, fiber optic, and UTP cabling required. Switch/VLAN management, Microsoft Office 365, Office Suite Software. This position also assists with the set up and deployment of PC’s, printers, etc. to the user community.
